We find sometimes you have to shake everything up to start your change. We are hope for a complete transformation actually. I just found out an old friend of mine committed suicide four years ago because of a messy divorce. I wish she could have read your blog, I think she needed hope and something to help her life change for the better. I guess she never found it. I alway plan ahead before I make my move, for example; when I'm driving and I know I will make a right hand turn i will stay on my right had side for at least two blocks. If I'm going to jump in a pool I will plan ahead on how to jump. I will fill up my head with a list of choires at home or at work. Unfortunately, it overwhelms me if I don't accomplish them. My "life picture" has taken on a life of its own since I changed my approach. I used to first create my vision of what I wanted my life or work to be. Then I would generate an action list to get me to my goal, which I would prioritize. Then I'd pound my way down this preconceived chute toward my one (limited) goal. It was a very heady stressful approach.<BR/>Now I have a heartled approach. I am trusting my instincts about the best next step. I have NO idea where this will lead me, and the results I'm getting are miraculously better than ever before. It's as though life is aligning itself with me. I wrote a book without a whole lot of anguish. Sure, it was good hard work, and it felt like Right work. I connected with an agent who supported me as a mentor throughout a major rewrite. She took it to the big BEA event (28,000 publisher, agents and sellers) and it garnered more interest than her other 45 authors! I am now loving my life as an author. I focus on my self-expression and sharing myself. My self-worth or having to discipline myself to write are not an issue.
