Do you find yourself telling “little white lies” because you don’t want to disappoint or hurt those around you? And what impact has that had on your life, your plans, your sense of self or your relationship with those to whom you “fib”?
As part of my current book project (working title: Say “Yes!” for a Change) I am looking for contributors who are willing to share the result of not being honest with others under the guise of “being nice.” Has it held you back? Made you unhappy? Hurt you or those around you? And how did you learn to “tell the truth with kindness?”
If you’d like to share your insights and experiences, e-mail me with your story.
I’d like to send a special thank you to my latest contributors — Jason Hanson, Mark Barnes, Marian Baker and Fr. Paul Keenan—along with rest: Bob Mosby, Dianne Schwartz, Fiona Roberts, Jill Berquist, John Seeley, Kelly Boyer Sagert, Ray Elias, Robin Baum, Ruth Klein, Stephanie Caruso, Susan Gayle and Susan Jeffers.
Sharing your experiences provides valuable insights to all of us!
Make one change today and change your life for the better!
